I moved from Colorado to Mexico to immerse myself in the vibrant colors and magical culture of this wonderful place.  I have always lived being guided by my spirituality. After the unexpected passing of my beautiful wife two years ago my decision was to visit Mexico, which is how I discovered Chapala. All the while I knew I was being guided by her to start a new life south of the border. From the moment I walked the Malecon in Chapala while the sun was setting I knew this was the beginning of a new chapter in life.

I aspire to combine my love and spirituality with the incredible vibrancy and beauty of Mexico incorporating that into each and every one of my pieces.  Sharing my process brings me much happiness. My favorite and most spiritual application on canvas is the Mandala. I start each Mandala with the intent of love, community and peace.  While continuing to meditate as I paint, I may not know where it will take me but I know the finished painting will have imbued in it every bit of spirit I have to give.

My professional background for forty years was in Landscape Architecture where I used my artistic abilities adding color, texture and form to each garden.  I now have the time, opportunity and great fortune to place all of my creativity full time on canvas.

My medium is acrylic and each piece is given two coats of protective spray to retain its rich colors.  Canvas reproductions (Giclees) and photo quality prints in custom sizes are available.

 

Lastly, commission work is also accepted.
